Valley View Family Medical Clinic Offers Physicals for Student Athletes

Valley View Family Medical Clinic is set to provide an essential service to student-athletes at Valley View ISD. On Tuesday, May 7th, and Wednesday, May 8th, the clinic will be onsite at VVISD to conduct physical examinations for students intending to participate in athletics, marching band, or cheerleading for the 2024-25 school year.

The clinic will be available on Tuesday, May 7th, during HS boys athletics and JH girls athletics. On Wednesday, May 8th, they will cater to HS girls athletics, 6th grade PE, and JH boys athletics. This strategic scheduling aims to accommodate a wide range of students and ensure accessibility to the required physical examinations.

Parents and guardians are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity, as a physical is mandatory for all students planning to engage in school sports or related activities. The cost for the physical examination will be $20, payable in cash or by check.

To streamline the process, it is requested that students come prepared with their medical history filled out on the front side of the physical form. Physical forms can be obtained from the school's Office or directly from Coach Terry. Additionally, for convenience, an electronic version of the physical form is available via the following link: PrePhysFormRvsd2024.pdf

Ensuring the health and well-being of student-athletes is a top priority for VVISD, and partnerships with local medical providers like Valley View Family Medical Clinic play a crucial role in achieving this goal. By offering accessible and affordable physical examinations, the school aims to facilitate a safe and enriching experience for all participants in its athletic programs.
