Title IX
Title IX – Student Protection at Valley View ISD
A federal law known as Title IX requires Valley View ISD to protect all students from sexual assault, sexual abuse, sexual harassment, and gender-based violence or harassment.
Valley View ISD is committed to providing a safe and supportive learning environment for every student. Any student, parent, or community member who believes that a violation of Title IX has occurred is encouraged to report it immediately.
How can I report prohibited conduct?
Reports can be made orally or in writing to a teacher, counselor, principal, or other Valley View ISD employee. Students and parents are also encouraged to make a report directly to Valley View ISD’s Title IX Coordinator.
-
Reports can be made at any time, including during non-business hours.
-
The sooner a report is made, the better.
-
Please include as much detail as possible so the Title IX Coordinator can respond thoroughly and appropriately.
