Dual Language Program Home
How the Program Works
Students receive instruction in both English and their primary language during the elementary years. As students become more proficient in English, instruction gradually shifts toward English while continuing to support academic achievement.
This instructional model allows students to:
- Build literacy in their primary language
- Develop strong English language skills
- Master grade-level academic content
- Successfully transition to English instruction when appropriate

Family Partnership
Families play an important role in student success. Valley View ISD values strong school-home partnerships and is committed to keeping families informed, involved, and supported throughout their child's educational journey.
We are committed to:
- Communicating with families in their preferred language
- Providing ongoing support throughout a student's educational journey
- Working together to help every student reach their highest potential
