Career and Technical Education (CTE) Program

Welcome to our Career and Technical Education (CTE) program. Our district is committed to providing students with opportunities to explore various career paths and gain practical skills that will prepare them for success in their chosen fields.

About CTE: CTE offers a diverse range of programs designed to meet the needs and interests of our students. These programs integrate academic knowledge with technical and occupational skills, ensuring students are well-equipped for further education and the workforce.

Program Offerings:

  1. Accounting and Financial Services
  2. Agricultural Technology and Mechanical Systems
  3. Animal Science
  4. Cosmetology and Personal Care Services (dual credit through NCTC)
  5. Early Learning
  6. Exercise Science, Wellness, and Restoration
  7. Fire Science (dual credit through NCTC)
  8. HVAC and Sheet Metal (dual credit through NCTC)

Dual-Credit Courses: Several of our CTE programs offer dual-credit courses through our partnership with North Central Texas College. This means that students have the opportunity to earn college credits while still in high school, providing them with a head start on their higher education journey.

How to Get Involved: Interested students can inquire about CTE programs through their school counselor or CTE coordinator. We encourage students to explore the various program options and find the one that aligns with their interests and career goals.

Join us in preparing the next generation of skilled professionals through our Career and Technical Education program!
