Valley View ISD Administrator Salary Schedule
Valley View ISD is committed to offering competitive salaries to attract and retain high-quality administrators who support our students, staff, and community.
For the 2025-2026 school year, the salary schedule for administrators is based on years of experience and position.

- Assistant Principal (11-month contract): $53,988
- Assistant Principal – Instruction (12-month contract): $58,889
- Elementary Principal: $64,243
- Middle School Principal: $66,920
- High School Principal/Associate Superintendent: $71,202

Maximum Salaries (30+ Years of Experience):
- Assistant Principal (11-month): $86,864
- Assistant Principal – Instruction (12-month): $94,782
- Elementary Principal: $103,399
- Middle School Principal: $107,707
- High School Principal/Associate Superintendent: $114,600
Additionally, all administrators receive a $1,200 retention stipend, subject to Board approval.

Valley View ISD Custodial & Maintenance Salary Schedule
Valley View ISD values the dedication of our custodial and maintenance staff, ensuring competitive wages to attract and retain quality employees who help maintain a safe and clean environment for our students and staff.
For the 2025-2026 school year, custodial and maintenance salaries are determined based on years of experience and job classification.

- Custodian (220-day contract): $24,101 annually ($13.57/hour)
- Maintenance Worker I (229-day contract): $29,027 annually ($15.44/hour)
- Maintenance Worker II (229-day contract, skilled/supervisory position): $33,163 annually ($17.64/hour)

Maximum Salaries (30+ Years of Experience):
- Custodian: $36,995 annually ($20.83/hour)
- Maintenance Worker I: $42,582 annually ($22.65/hour)
- Maintenance Worker II: $52,302 annually ($27.82/hour)
Custodial employees work 220 days per year, while maintenance workers operate on a 229-day schedule. Initial step placement is based on experience and supervisor discretion.

Valley View ISD is dedicated to providing fair and competitive wages for our Child Nutrition Services staff, who play a vital role in ensuring students receive healthy and nutritious meals each day.
For the 2025-2026 school year, salaries for child nutrition employees are based on years of experience and scheduled work hours per day.

- 8-hour/day schedule: $18,998 annually ($13.57/hour)
- 7-hour/day schedule: $16,624 annually
- 6-hour/day schedule: $14,249 annually
- 5-hour/day schedule: $11,874 annually
- 4-hour/day schedule: $9,499 annually

Maximum Salaries (30+ Years of Experience):
- 8-hour/day schedule: $29,162 annually ($20.83/hour)
- 7-hour/day schedule: $25,517 annually
- 6-hour/day schedule: $21,872 annually
- 5-hour/day schedule: $18,227 annually
- 4-hour/day schedule: $14,581 annually
Child nutrition salaries reflect a 175-day work schedule and will be adjusted based on actual days worked. Initial step placement is determined by experience and the superintendent's discretion.

Valley View ISD Retired Teacher Salary Schedule (Non-Contract)
Valley View ISD offers part-time teaching opportunities for retired educators who wish to return to the classroom. Salaries are based on the number of classes taught and the educator’s years of experience.
For the 2025-2026 school year, retired teachers may work up to 50% of a full-time teaching schedule, with salaries adjusted accordingly.
- Salary Breakdown (Based on Number of Classes Taught):
- Up to 12.5% (1 class): Ranges from $6,753 to $7,709 (Bachelor’s Degree) and $6,810 to $7,709 (Master’s Degree).
- Up to 25% (2 classes): Ranges from $13,505 to $15,303 (Bachelor’s Degree) and $13,620 to $15,417 (Master’s Degree).
- Up to 37.5% (3 classes): Ranges from $20,258 to $22,954 (Bachelor’s Degree) and $20,429 to $23,126 (Master’s Degree).
- Up to 50% (4 classes): Ranges from $27,010 to $30,606 (Bachelor’s Degree) and $27,239 to $30,835 (Master’s Degree).
Important Note
Per Teacher Retirement System (TRS) guidelines, teachers who return to work after retirement must be out for at least one year before being eligible to return to full-time employment in a Texas public school district.

Work Schedules & Placement
- Directors and assistants work a 12-month schedule (8 hours/day).
- Campus secretaries work 10 extra days beyond a 10-month faculty schedule (as determined by the supervisor).
- LVNs and educational aides follow the 10-month faculty schedule.
- Initial step placement is based on experience and supervisor discretion.
