Valley View ISD Recognizes Employees
On Friday, May 17, 2024, Valley View ISD recognized employees. Among those recognized were retirees, service pin recipients, and the Spring 2024 Eagles Above and Beyond recipients.
Rebekah Holder was the first recipient of the Eagles Above and Beyond Award. The letter for her nomination stated, "Mrs. Holder has worked for Valley View ISD both in the classroom and as a campus counselor and has exceeded expectations in both positions. Not only is she well-loved by every student she encounters, she is also well-respected by her colleagues, administrators, and members of the community."
Misty Price was the second recipient of the Eagles Above and Beyond Award. The nomination letter for her stated: "Misty has worked for Valley View ISD for twenty years. She started as a Special Education aid and has served as Director of Human Resources for the past ten years. She is meticulous in dealing with employee records and assisting employees in any way she can with the various details regarding their tenure with Valley View ISD. This is a position that is probably taken for granted by many of us. It cannot be stressed enough what an asset Misty is to Valley View ISD."
