Community Support and Safety Notice After Tornado

Good morning,
As many of you know, we have woken up to the devastating aftermath of a tornadic event. Many in our community have lost their homes, loved ones, and any sense of normalcy. Please know that VVISD is fully committed to supporting our community and surrounding areas during this challenging time.
If you need assistance or want to help the recent tornado victims, please contact Cooke County VOAD at 940-612-5323.

Community Resources and Support Information
Donation Centers:
Valley View Community Center, a donation center for those affected by the recent tornado, is located at 101 S. Lee St.
Methodist Church, 201 Church St., center for clothing donation drop-off & clothing pick-up
Bob Andrew Ag Science Center, 805 S. Lee St., donations from large corporations.
Shelters:
- Red Cross is located at Valley View ISD High School, 700 S. Frontage Rd.
Food Services:
- Red Cross located at Valley View High School
- Meals 605 JL Drive, daily 11:00 AM-2:00 PM until June 8
- Summer Meals Program Valley View ISD Location: Breakfast: 7:00 - 8:30 AM (Monday to Friday), Lunch: 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM (Monday to Friday)
