Returning Student Registration

For returning students who have already set up their Parent Portal account, please log on and complete the Returning Student Enrollment Process.

Complete Registration For The Upcoming School Year.

Log into Ascender Parent Portal.

1. From the Summary page, click Registration.

2. Click Start Registration.

3. Complete all forms. There are several types of forms:

Click Next Form to confirm that you viewed the form.

Click Download Attached Document.

Add or change data as needed.

Click Add User to add a new contact.

4. Click Next Form until you have reviewed and updated all forms.

5. Once finished, click Finish and Submit to District.

6. Print the confirmation for your records.

Birth Certificate

Social Security Card

Must be current on all required immunizations or have signed/notarized original Texas immunization waiver.

Driver's License

Proof of Residency (Current Electric Bill)


Valley View ISD utilizes the ParentSquare platform for district-wide communication. To ensure parents and students receive notifications through ParentSquare and StudentSquare, all communication details must be entered into Ascender. If you need to revise your email or phone number for receiving ParentSquare notifications, you can easily do so by updating your information in the Ascender Parent Portal.

When inputting student email addresses into Ascender, please use the VVISD email address provided by the district.

Student Media Release Information

Please review and acknowledge the student information release during registration. If you select “no” for district publications, your child will not be featured in any Valley View ISD materials, including social media, website posts, and the yearbook. If you want your child to be included only in VVISD publications and excluded from other forms of publication, select “yes” in the District Publication section.
