The Mighty Eagle Marching Band is taking flight this weekend at the UIL Area Marching Contest on Saturday, November 1, at C.H. Collins Stadium in Denton.

The band will perform at 12:30 PM, and spectators are encouraged to arrive by 12:00 noon to ensure they don’t miss a moment of this historic performance. This marks the first time in school history that the Valley View Mighty Eagle Band has advanced to the UIL Area Marching Contest, as they compete for a chance to earn a spot at the UIL State Marching Contest.

Tickets
All tickets must be purchased online through GoFan — there will be no cash sales at the venue. Tickets are $8 and valid for the entire day.

Parking
Spectator parking will be available in the east parking lot (behind the visitors’ stands). A shuttle service will be provided for those needing assistance. Parking is limited, so guests are encouraged to arrive early and carpool if possible.

Clear Bag Policy
Denton ISD enforces a clear bag policy at C.H. Collins Stadium.

Approved bags include:

• Clear vinyl or plastic totes

• Plastic storage bags (Ziploc-style)

• Small clutch purses

• Diaper bags (if accompanied by a young child)

Prohibited bags include:

• Backpacks

• Briefcases

• Drawstring bags

• Coolers

• Purses larger than a clutch

Camera bags are allowed, but they are subject to visual inspection. All bags and personal items are subject to inspection upon entry.
