Valley View ISD invites parents, guardians, and community members to attend the Annual Title I Informational Meeting this September. The meeting provides an overview of federal programs, including how Valley View ISD uses federal funds to support student success.

Two sessions will be offered to make it convenient for families to attend:

• Wednesday, September 17 at 6:00 p.m.
  Bob Andrew Ag Sciences Center, 805 South Lee Street
  (followed by the monthly Friends of Valley View Youth Supporters meeting)

• Friday, September 19 at 8:00 a.m.
  Valley View ISD Administration Building, 106 Newton Street

The presentation will explain how federal ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act) funds are allocated and used to benefit Valley View students. Programs supported by Title I, Title II, Title III, Title IV, and Migrant funding will be highlighted, including intervention support, bilingual programs, and teacher training opportunities.
