School Holiday – Monday, October 12

Valley View ISD will be closed on Monday, October 12, 2026, for a school holiday. There will be no school for students or staff.

Classes will resume on Tuesday, October 13, at regular times.

Eagle Nation, it's time to go undercover! Friday, October 16, is Camo Day at Valley View ISD!

Break out your camouflage and show your Eagle spirit as we gear up for Friday night football. Let's see that Eagle Pride, even if you're dressed to blend in!
 

Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with us!

We’re wrapping up Hispanic Heritage Month with four fun dress-up days celebrating culture, traditions, and community!

 Reminder: No school on Monday, October 12.

Tuesday, Oct. 13 – Vaqueros
Wednesday, Oct. 14 – Mi Cultura – Wear traditional Hispanic attire or flag colors.
Thursday, Oct. 15 – Fútbol – Represent your favorite soccer team.
Friday, Oct. 16 – Rosa para las Mujeres – Wear pink.

We can’t wait to see our Eagles join in the celebration!

VVISD VATRE Public Information Meetings

Valley View ISD will hold public information meetings about the November 3, 2026 Voter-Approval Tax Rate Election (VATRE).

Each meeting will include information about Proposition A. Community members can also submit questions to the District using a question form.

We will confirm the location for the October 13–15 meetings before the meetings.

Red Ribbon Week is October 26–30! Red Ribbon Week is a nationwide celebration that encourages students to make healthy, safe choices and live drug-free.

We’re celebrating all week with fun dress-up days that remind our Eagles that their choices matter!

Tuesday, October 27: Wear Crazy Socks
Wednesday, October 28: Wear Yellow
Thursday, October 29: Wear Workout Attire
Friday, October 30: Dress as Your Favorite Book or Movie Character

Local businesses can showcase their business while supporting Valley View High School students by purchasing an ad in this year’s yearbook. Proceeds from ad sales help support the school’s yearbook program.

Color ad options range from $50 for a 1/8-page ad to $400 for a full-page ad. Businesses can select their ad size, upload photos, and create their ad online.
