  • National Suicide Prevention Lifeline

    The crisis lifeline number is now 988.

  • Texas Youth Helpline

  • NAMI (National Alliance of Mental Illness) Texas

    Provides education and support programs directed toward individuals living with mental illness. Offers support for family, friends, and other stakeholders as well.  NAMI of Grayson, Cooke, and Fannin Counties (903) 814-7121

  • Texoma Community Center (Cooke Mental Health)

    Types of counseling: All ages, parenting classes, substance abuse programs Payment: Medicaid, Medicare (940) 665-3962 Crisis Hotline: (877) 227-2226 301 N. Grand Ave., Gainesville, TX 76240 Note: School counselors may call the crisis hotline in emergency situations. They will send someone to the school within an hour for a suicide emergency and eight hours for other emergencies. Parents MUST be notified and available.

  • Family Tree Program

    The Family Tree Program provides family counseling to Denton and Dallas County families at no cost.
